Bluboo S8 VS Samsung Galaxy S8 comparison and price

Bluboo S8 is just like a carbon copy of the ultimate Samsung galaxy S8, Bluboo really worked it out in designing its S8 just like the Samsung S8 and there are quite some similar specs and before I begin comparing both devices, I would like you to know that I am not condemning any of the devices but rather making users of smartphones see why they can still buy the cheap Bluboo S8 instead of going for the expensive Samsung S8.

Now as an addicted user of smartphone, I would always go for things like RAM, performance, internal storage and expansion support, display, camera and then battery maker and size. So let’s take it one at a time;

RAM

Bluboo S8 is equipped with a large 3GB RAM which is quite ok and it enhances smooth operation with 360 security system app to help secure the cleaning of cache and other unused apps and excess files while the Samsung galaxy S8 is equipped with big 4GB RAM which is more accurate and faster in operation than the Bluboo S8.

ROM/INTERNAL STORAGE

Bluboo S8 is packed with just 32GB of internal storage which is quite manageable considering the price of the smartphone and the RAM allocated to it and it allows up to 256GB expansion via SD card while the Samsung S8 is packed with a large 64GB internal storage which supports an expansion of up to 256GB via SD card. Considering both devices in terms of storage, the Samsung galaxy surpasses the Bluboo S8 but it doesn’t make the device a little lesser because the price is cheap and I think it meets the requirement of what you are paying for or buying.

PROCEESOR

Bluboo S8 is powered and running on a powerful Media-Tek MTK6750T Octa-core 1.5GHz, it is quite fast enough considering the allocated RAM and it strong chip while Samsung S8 is running on a powerful Octa-Core with a CPU speed of 2.3GHz and 1.7GHz, the performance of the Samsung S8 is awesome and it faster in operation than the doppelganger.

DISPLAY

Both device have infinity display and a curve edge to edge screen display but different in terms of resolution and display size and inch. Bluboo S8 sports a 5.7” inch Sharp HD+ display which adopts a GFF technology to make the immersed screen thinner and lighter, it also used a 2.5D curved glass to offer more vibrant and saturated color and a good viewing angle. While the ultimate Samsung S8 features a 5.8” inch full HD+ display which can be changed to quad HD+ display in the settings, the Samsung S8 is really great when it comes to display and viewing angles. Bluboo S8 features a 18:9 aspect ratio and a narrow bezel while Samsung S8 features a 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

CAMERA

Bluboo S8 features a dual Sony rear camera of 16MP + 3MP with a dual LED flashlight which is really good for taking pictures in a low light area with 8MP selfie camera and it comes with many great features and packages and a video recording resolution of 1080P, while Samsung S8 features a 12MP dual pixel rear camera with a CMOS 8MP selfie camera. It has a flashlight and a video recording resolution up to UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) @30fps. I might say the Bluboo surpass the Samsung in camera quality, pixel and lens sensor.

BATTERY

Bluboo S8 houses a 3450mAh battery capacity with 4.4V battery core and fast charge which ensures more working times between charging while Samsung S8 is packed with just 3000mAh battery capacity. Both devices batteries are ok and long lasting, although the battery capacity of the Samsung S8 is lower than the Bluboo S8 but it is reliable and efficient, the Bluboo S8 last longer than the Samsung and they both support Type – C USB cable which enhances fast charging and can be used as a replacement of the 3.5mm audio jack and serve as headphone itself.  The Samsung S8 supports wireless charging technology which is an advantage and is sold separately so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

COMMON SIMILARITY

Fingerprint Sensor
They both support fingerprint sensor or scanner which is located at the rear part of the smartphone but different location, the shape of both fingerprints are the same and both are the fastest in their class with approximately 0.1s unlocking speed.

Android OS
They are both running on the latest android 7 Nougat and they should be receiving the Android 8 Oreo maybe.

COMMON DIFFERENCES

The Samsung S8 features a Water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and You can get stuck in the rain without an umbrella and still find your way home. And you won't lose your cool when you spill water all over your phone.it also support dust resistant while the Bluboo does not feature any of this.

Back cover
The back cover of the Bluboo S8 is harder than the Samsung S8 back cover because of the material used in designing it. It provides higher hardness and scratch resistant due to the IML technology used which also brings exquisite and multi-color visual effect. It also uses a glass back cover with CD texture effect and anti-fingerprint coating layer which makes it smooth and elegant.

The Samsung S8 is the master of security, having iris scanner, fingerprint scanner, pattern and PIN security features while Bluboo has just PIN, pattern and fingerprint scanner.
